The mission of the Wildlife Research Foundation is to provide funds and support to the scientific community and wildlife managers to enhance wildlife and habitat research and to better inform and educate the general public concerning the value and necessity of wildlife research.
The Wildlife Research Foundation was created with a basic premise. Before decisions can be made regarding the management of wildlife, you must first understand the wildlife that you manage and their environment. Although the nation’s wildlife research community pursues its mission with passion, they are limited without the necessary resources that it takes to educate the public and policy makers.
The Wildlife Research Foundation, with public support, is dedicated to raising funds to provide the scientific community with the necessary tools they need. The result of their research is essential to continue the advancement and education of the public and our nation’s wildlife managers to better understand the dynamics involved.
